New Zealand Visa Requirement

Requirements

  • Original new passport with a minimum validity of 8 months before departure, and the old passport. The new passport must be signed in the signature box on the back page or on an endorsement page.

  • Two (2) color passport photos, size 3.5 x 4.5 cm, with a white background and 70% zoom on the face. You must not wear glasses, a hat, soft lenses, or other accessories.

  • Bank statement for the last 3 months in English. If the statement is not in English, you must also attach a bank reference letter in English that states the final balance and the date you opened the account with the bank.

  • An employment sponsorship letter in English, on company letterhead that includes the company’s address and phone number, and it must be stamped. For business owners, attach the SIUP, NIB, and Kemenkumham approval. If the applicant is a housewife, a sponsorship letter from the husband (in English) is required.

  • Photocopy of Family Card (KK) and a photocopy of ID Card (KTP). Note: As of August 18th, the KK, Marriage/Birth Certificate, and Name Change/Indonesian Citizenship Certificate (if any) must be translated into English. An official KTP receipt is also acceptable.

  • School/University enrollment letter in English or a student ID card.

  • Ticket booking and the name of the hotel(s) for the duration of the stay in New Zealand.

  • If you have an inviter, the inviter must fill out Form 1025 and have it stamped by a notary public in New Zealand.

  • Photocopy of the passport and visa of any relative/child residing in New Zealand (if you have a relative/child studying or living in New Zealand, also attach an invitation letter and civil registration documents proving the relationship).

Notes:

  • The original passport must be brought to the appointment and will be returned on the next business day (D+1) after the appointment.

  • The application is by appointment, and the passport will not be held (the original passport must be present during the application).

  • The visa’s validity will begin from the date it is issued / the date the visa grant email is received from the embassy.
